Hello everyone!
I'm super excited to be starting on this new journey here thru my new blog, The Orange Clothesline. Why the title? Well, it's quite simple actually. Orange is my favorite color. It's happy and energetic, it just makes me smile. Anything I see while out shopping that is orange draws my eye.
Clothesline? Well, since my husband and I were first married (over 12 years ago, wow!) I've always wanted a clothesline. At our first house in the city, I used to tie a rope from our mudroom door to the garage so I could hang quilts out to dry. See, I have a "country girl" feel to me and there is nothing like having quilts out "on the line." So after moving to our farmhouse here and persisting about the idea of a clothesline, he finally gave in. And he didn't just build a clothesline. This thing is MAJOR. Four different lines run on a pulley system so I can stand in one place while putting clothes on and taking them off. With my polka dot bag draped over my left shoulder, I grab clothespins or drop them back in the bag. The side of our house that the line was built is the most peaceful place on earth. I truly enjoy doing laundry now (I know, sounds CRAZY, right?) because of the simplicity of my clothesline.
So when pondering names for a new blog, this one kept coming back. And here we are.
And what is "The Orange Clothesline" all about? Well, it's going to be a combination of things, me blabbing about whatever is on my mind, but mostly about DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING. I'm am a huge digital scrapbooker, it truly is my passion (along side of anything orange and my clothesline).
So I want to share what I know, have found, ideas, thoughts, freebies, the whole nine yards right here.
