Celebrating Nanny

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!  I am shocked that we are nearing the end of August...  seriously, I don't know where the time goes!  But thankfully we can look back and be glad for a wonderful, safe and healthy summer.  We've been truly blessed!  Now with school happenin' a week from today, we'll see what the fall brings!

I've been anxiously awaiting showing you all of the pages I've been working on over the past several weeks.  I enjoyed every minute of putting this album together...  for my grandma, AKA "Nanny."  She has 13 living grandchildren, one deceased, and there are stories and memories from us all.  Wonderful (and comical) memories shared from her 4 daughters, a son-in-law and niece.  Not to mention the 160 photos that were collected and used to make the book all the more special! 

Thank you to all of the family who patiently dug through and scanned in old photos and emailed them to me!  I will never forget the tears that streamed down Nanny's face as she closed the scrapbook.  We hugged so tight.  What a precious moment... what a precious gift.  I'm so glad I got to be a part of making this a special 80th birthday!

Happy Birthday to Molly!

 Wow!  Has it really been 4 years?  Miss Molly, you have grown so much!  What a joy you are!  It looks like both year 1 & 2 I used the same digital scrapbooking kit from Creative Memories, kit : "Delight."  Cute!

And her third year birthday digital scrapbook pages were made using Jessica Edwards kit : "Birthday Girl."  LOVE this paper pack!  I wish Jessica Edwards was still in the business, she is crazy talented!

I may use it for her 4th birthday pages too!

Hello and happy Friday to you all! 

I kept thinking yesterday was Friday.  Perhaps with that mindset I should have made my grocery list and shopped then!  Instead those things will have to happen today...  3 crazy kids along for all the errands.  But school is starting up soon enough and I'm already realizing what busy-ness will follow with homework, lunches to pack, PTO meetings (did I tell ya I'm Secretary this year?!), etc.  So I'm thankful for the time still with the kids, all be it harder to sit and scrap and spend time on the orange clothesline :)

I hope you have a great day and a nice weekend!  Our first "flag football" game tomorrow for Mikie - then next week practice starts up for Jack!  WHEW!

Wedding Album

I've been working on a few projects lately, this is one I wrapped up last night!  It's been fun and fufilling and I've loved re-living the memories of my cousin Ali's wedding!  Her and Zac make a beautiful couple, don't they!? 

Her album consists of mixtures of kits by Design House Digital (kit : Love Me Full by Robyn Meierotto), Bella Gypsy (kits: Seedless, Sundress and Popthickle), and some freebies I've picked up along the way.

Shhh, it's a surprise!

Hello everyone!  

I hope this finds you doing well!  I tell you what, the time is flying by...  I can't believe we are in August and the days continue to click by like minutes.  We had a fun camping experience last weekend (although we got rained on quite a bit) and today we started the week with a coupon-clipping grocery shopping adventure (all 3 kids along) and an afternoon pool date with our entire old school playgroup.  It's been over a year since we've all hung out.  Good times!

I have been busy working on 2 scrapbooks and am super excited to show you some of the pages but wanna wait til the one album has been given (shhh, it's a surprise).  But some FUN stuff, some great QuickPages and kudos to many of my favorite digi scrap sites!  Soon to share!

Hoping you are doing well and your week is off to a good start!  Tomorrow is getting our oldest fitted for football gear and a good carpet cleaning here at home.  And we'll see what else happens along the way :)
