Here are a few digital scrapbook pages I've been playing around with.  I just did this "May 2011" page while the kids are doing quiet time.*

It's fun to recap a month with misc pictures that don't really belong with any one thing that happened.  But if you are like me, you tend to snap pictures of lots of different things, not just the "big events."  I hope you have a great afternoon!

* if you consider it quiet time with door slamming and boys yelling - umm, I've had to run some interference today!

And rounding out this week is this page!  This was a fun pic snapped last summer as the boys hopped off my folks pontoon.  Great display of what summer is all about if you ask me.  I'm a big fan of using a photo as the background, sometimes it's all you need.

I must be honest in saying I have NO idea where this cute paper came from!  I believe it was a freebie!?  Anywho, I like how the page aligns, the silly faces Molly and I shared.  Boy has she grown since then!  And so has my hair :)!

I had fun making this page at a scrapbook retreat last January.  I had "hit a wall" creatively speaking and found some good inspiration in a scrapbooking magazine.  I love how the words came together and the kit is just adorable.  Even though they fight daily, they truly are the bestest of brothers!

Birthday Invites!

What a beautiful day outside!  Great day to hang some quilts and bedding out on the line.  If only inside the noise level was at a minimum!  The kids are constant and incessant irritating each other, if it isn't one combo of Jack and Molly, it's Mike and Jack or Mike and Molly... argh!

I'm enjoying plugging in with some friends in the digi community and look forward to promoting and sharing some of my favorite sites with you.  There will be some freebies coming soon as well!  So please stay tuned and mention the orange clothesline to your fellow digi scrappers or anyone else you know who may enjoy following along :)

So these past few days I've been dealing with a constant headache... literally.  Today I decided I need to try to relax. 

What is more relaxing than having the kids take some quiet time and me using that time to scrapbook?!  Here are a few pages I got done today, using Kerri Powell's adorable "Camping" Word Art Pack!  And the digital scrapbook kits themselves are from one of my most favorite websites, Just So Scrappy.  I hope you like 'em!

Our Barn Quilt!

This right here my friends is called a "barn quilt."  And it truly is an amazing sight!  This is my birthday present from my hubby... isn't it grand!?  A wonderful friend of mine and her sister make these and they are truly an eye-catching-show-stopper.  If you drive by my house, honk!  You can't miss it :)

They are typically hung on barns, as seen below.  When we were in Ohio this past week we spotted this one on our way. 

But mine, I must say, is the coolest :)  The design is a "Hunter's Star."  Can you tell I'm lovin' it!?  Thank you Phyllis and Erk!  Ohh, and you can order one for your barn or garage or any peak you have that one would work at www.gablesendbarnquilts.com. They make them in 2x2, 4x4, 6x6 (which is the size of ours, I guess I should say "ours" cause it's not just mine!) and 8x8.  There are so many patterns and colors you can choose from too!  SWEET!

School's Almost Out!

I wanted to share these with ya, they are our teacher gifts this year! 

I'll make 25 of each with some envelopes tied up with a cute lil' matching ribbon.  Who doesn't like things with their names on them!?  I remember when I was a kid, probably my 6th birthday, when my mom wrapped all of my gifts in wrapping paper that said my name all over.  I LOVED it.  It made me feel so special!  And we were certainly blessed with amazing teachers this year!

Hello everyone! 

Wow, what an amazing week!  I can't believe it's Thursday... yesterday and the days prior all felt like Saturdays! :)  We just got back from camping for a week in Ohio.  My cousin got married and we added a few extra days in to hit Cedar Point.  It was an absolute blast!  To see the joy and excitement (mixed with nerves) on the boys' faces was priceless!


I wanted to share this with you, all of you digital scrapbookers!  Kerri recently released her first digital word art pack called "Ouchies & Ickies."  Kerri is so talented and we go way back in the digital scrapbooking community. :)  I'm happy to spread the word about her blog - http://kerripowell.blogspot.com. I will have more goodies tied into Kerri coming up real soon!
