FREE digital scrapbook software!

A HUGE congratulations to Amanda!  She is the winner of F-R-E-E digital scrapbooking software from MyMemories!  What a wonderful way to bring in the New Year!

The goal was to hit 50 "likes" on Facebook and we got there.  I'd love to grow from there - so come on over and follow along with me.  Random facts, ideas, digital scrapbook pages, greeting cards, random creativity, and more.  Who knows, we'll hit another milestone of "likes" and there might just be another giveaway like this!

So stay tuned and keep up with me, it's guaranteed to be a fun ride!

Blessed

Here's hoping you and yours were blessed with a wonderful Christmas!  As we stood and sang "Joy to the World" at church on Christmas Eve, I couldn't believe Christmas was here already!  And now it's the 26th.  What a blessed time of year, hoping the same for you and yours!

the orange clothesline

Here we are, it's 12.16.11!  So hard to believe!  I apologize for not being a better BLOGGER!  What a busy time of year, eh?  So many fun things going on that grab ahold of the time these days.  Making crafts for the kids Christmas parties at school, then being a part of their parties; the annual tradition of making fudge; making ornaments; playing with friends; baking cookies; and the list goes on!  So much fun to be had :)  Hoping the same has been for you!

And with today comes the last day of ordering Greeting Cards from the orange clothesline.  It's been a wonderful season for this as well.  I've enjoying working on your cards and look forward to again next year!  I am hoping to dabble into more types of cards in 2012, such as birthday, birth announcements and more - we'll see what comes!  I hope you will stay tuned and keep up with me.  I've found this is a true source of joy for me to be a part of what's happening in your lives!

And in 2012 I hope to be a better blogger, better spider squisher, better time keeper, better hair manager for my daughter, and a few others :)  I hope that you will follow along with me on Facebook too - I tend to write on there more often.  My personal FB page is where I like to post my funny comments, but perhaps I'll start with my random thoughts on theorangeclothesline FB page too so you can hear my brain clickin'.  Enjoy this next week - the first of Christmas vacation with your kids!  More soon!

With Thanksgiving right around the corner and the days clicking by, I wanted to take a minute to say how thankful I am for all of you!  As I'm starting out on this new adventure, it's been fun to pop in and say hello when I can, create and share with you all what I'm working on and just be myself.  Thank you for bearing with me and keeping up on the happenin's!

More Greeting Cards!

 4x8 gifts

4x8 JOY

Hello there from beautiful Iowa!  My hubby and I are here for the week pheasant hunting!  He is doing the hunting, I am taking in the scenery and digital scrapbooking :)  It's been a wonderful week so far.  Our kids are in wonderful hands with my folks back home and it's been very relaxing here.  The sights and sounds are, well, relaxing.  No dishes to do, lunches to pack or beds to make.  No makeup to put on, laundry to wash/fold/put away, or shoes to tie.  I'm just basking in the Iowa sun...  hehehehe - it's very enjoyable.  I hope you are having a good week as well!

Here are 2 more greeting cards from the orange clothesline!  For the full gallery of cards, check out my Facebook page.  I'm so excited to be offering these this year!  I can't wait to make YOURS!

The Latest...

Hello and happy Thursday!

I must be honest, I am better about posting regularly on Facebook than here on my blog!  I apologize!  I'll try to get on here more often.  At the moment I'm doing many other things rather than what I should be doing and that's packing!  We are headed outta town for a few days - kidless!  I have mixed feelings about being gone for Halloween, but since we always trick or treat with my folks (and in-laws) and that's where our kids will be, they are super excited.

We will be pheasant hunting with some dear long time friends of ours.  And where we are going is BEAUTIFUL country.  We didn't go last year and honestly I missed it!  We went the 2 years before that.  So it will be good to be back.  It's like stepping into a different lifestyle.  More s-i-m-p-l-e.  I'll have some digital scrapbook pages to share before long to capture the memories of our trip :)

I've asked my in-laws and parents to snap lots of pix of the kids in costumes!  I'm thankful school Halloween parties are tomorrow so I'll get to be a part of all of that - I'll be the extra-annoying-flash-blinding-mom tomorrow!

I wanted to show you a few more Greeting Cards I've released - check below them for their names.  When you email me at theorangeclothesline@gmail.com, please be sure to include the name of the card so I know which on  you would like for your Holiday cards this year!  I can't wait to get started & be a part of spreading holiday joy!

Greeting Cards 2011!

It's that time of year again ALREADY!  Time to think about GREETING cards!  And I'm super excited to be offering them this year!  I wanted to start spreading the word :)  So here is the WORD!  Let me know if you have any questions at all - also, if you would like a Bible verse added or different wording, I am happy to do that.  Fun stuff!  I am working on adding more 4x8 designs as well.  So get clickin' with your photos!  I'd love the opportunity to work on your greeting cards this year!

Trying to get current!

Sure, I have lots of pages to go back and catch up on, but there is something to be said about trying to get current!  At least working on current stuff...  It helps with journaling, that's for sure.

I'll save some "backload" for the upcoming retreat I'm attending in November with a dear friend.  Looking forward to that!

I wanted to share these first day of school pages with you, from September.  Hard to believe school started up a month ago!  Both of these set of pages were made using Just So Scrappy's "Back 2 School" kit.  I mixed up the papers a bit, but using the same layout surely saves time!  I can't believe how fast our boys are growin' up!

Show & Tell

This morning I had the opportunity to bring some scrapbooks to church and share them with our mom's group!  That was fun!  I got to tell them a little about what digital scrapbooking is and show them the difference between what traditional scrapbook pages look like behind page protectors vs. digital pages.

Ohh what you can do with digital scrapbooking!  Here are some misc pages they got to see today!

shout out to Just So Scrappy & Bella Gypsy for the cute papers!

a few things about me

 1. i like to rearrange furniture every so often for a fresh look.
 2. i talk to my dog as if she were human.
 3. i enjoy our burn barrel, perhaps too much.  my hubby calls me a pyro.
4. one of my biggest downfalls is folding/putting away laundry.
